This is awarded for the best performance by a British female player in any section at the 2016 British Championships. The prize will be awarded to the female player with the best final percentage score in any section – (i.e. a score of 4/5 = 80%, a score of 6/9 = 66.7%, etc.) In the event of a tie the Prize will be awarded to the female with the best percentage score in the highest section in the order listed below.
- British Championship
- British Seniors Championship (Over 65), (Over 50) in order
- Under 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10 Championships (in order)
- Under 180, Under 160, Under 140, Under 120, Over 65 Under 150, Over 50 Under 150 Championships (in order)
- Under 9, 8 Championships
- Major Open
- 5 Day Open (4 sections count equivalently)
- Weekender – Atkins, Soanes, Yates (In order)
- Rapidplay – Open, Under 150, Under 125 (in order)
- Blitz
In the event of a further tie with the two highest female players competing in the same or equivalent sections, the following tie breaks will be applied in order —
- If ONLY two players tie the result of individual game between the players
- Sum of Progressive scores
- Sum of Opponents scores
- Sonnenborn Berger
- Prize money shared
