Liveboards

Commentary
Commentary will be provided by IM Adam Hunt (below left) and GM Daniel Gormally (below right) from the City Hall, Hull. The commentators will be joined by a number of players and guests in the commentary room over the course of the championships. Access the commentary here – https://www.twitch.tv/ecf_streaming

GM Danny Gormally will be joined by WIM Natasha Regan (below right) for Round 1 of the main Championship commentary from 2.30pm on Saturday 27th July. IM Adam Hunt and GM Danny Gormally will then commentate on the remaining rounds 2 – 9 of the Championship from 2.30pm each day from Sunday 28th – Sunday 4th August. We will also have commentary on Rounds 1, 2, 4 & 5 of the British Junior Rapidplay Championships on 26th July from WIM Natasha Regan (from the venue) and GM Matthew Sadler (above left, remotely). The Junior Rapid commentary will be broadcast on https://www.twitch.tv/wim_natasharegan

Coaching

Leicestershire junior coach Alan Agnew (above left) will be available for coaching following junior championship round games up to 1.30pm from Sunday 28th July to Saturday 3rd August. Alan will be joined by Sooraj Raju (above right). Players should bring the score from their games  if possible once they are finished. All players in the junior championship are welcome to attend the post-round or group coaching sessions. Coaching will be in the Victoria Bar room at the City Hall and all juniors MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
 

Junior Simul Friday 2nd August 7.00pm

There will also be a Junior Simul for players in Junior Championship events with GM Keith Arkell. The simul will take place in the Mortimer Suite West at the City Hall, starting at 7.00 pm on the evening of Friday 2nd August. Once again all juniors MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian for this event. A well-stocked bookstall will be available throughout the event, set up and run by Chess & Bridge.

Fine Designs will be attending the 2024 Championships over the first weekend of 27th – 28th July with a range of BCC-themed garments, available for purchase at their stall in the Mortimer Suite by the bookstall.
