Hull (Open and Women’s Championships)
The playing venue is the Canham Turner Conference Centre, University of Hull, Cottingham Road, Hull HU6 7RX – https://www.beyond-events.co.uk/venues/canham-turner/. The Canham Turner is a modern conference facility, benefiting from a recent £7m upgrade and circled in red on the campus plan. We can offer participants free onsite parking permits on request.
Travelling to the event
Hull is easily accessible by public transport or road. It’s just two-and-a-half hours drive from major cities like Newcastle and Birmingham. Manchester is less than two hours away, and you can drive to Leeds or Sheffield in just over an hour. The postcode for the campus main entrance is HU6 7RU with directions to the campus as below …

The University is between two and three miles from Hull Paragon (Central) station and can be easily reached by bus (12/14 minutes). During the day there are three buses an hour, two an hour in the evening, bus routes 103, 105, x47. Buses run until around 23.30.
There are cafes and bars on site and a large pub just outside the University entrance. Ten minutes’ walk away, Newlands Avenue has a number of bars, cafes and restaurants. For those not wishing to stay at the University there are hotels close to Hull Paragon Station and the City Centre.
Accommodation
There are (limited) single bedrooms available on campus at £39.00 per night bed and breakfast and some doubles at £61.00 per night at two University-controlled B&Bs near to the site. There are also a small number of rooms available on site which may be reserved by contacting Stephen Greep at sjgreep@gmail.com on a first come, first served basis. Parking permits are also available adjacent to the playing venue and will again be allocated on a first come, first served basis by contacting Stephen Greep.
For those not wishing to stay at the University there are hotels close to Hull Paragon Station and the City Centre.
Milton Keynes (Senior and Junior Championships)
The Junior and Senior Championships will be held at Kents Hill Park Hotel, Timbold Drive, Milton Keynes MK7 6BZ
Travelling to the Event
Kents Hill Park is easily accessible by road or rail, with 450 free parking spaces on site. M1 junctions 13 and 14 are both provide easy access from the North, South and East. The A421 runs along the north boundary of Kents Hill providing access from the West.
Taxis are always outside the MK Central Station or Bletchley station and both journeys will take just 10 minutes to Kents Hill Park Training and Conference Centre.
There is a restaurant and bar on site. Kingston Centre is about 10 minutes walk away along the Redways, with a pub and several places to buy meals and food to take away, including Nando’s and McDonalds. Also clothing and chemist shops, in case of emergencies. There are more restaurants in Central Milton Keynes and surrounding villages which can be reached in less than half an hour driving. For those without transport, there are several pubs within walking distance that do food.

Accommodation is available at the Kents Park Hotel venue. You can book via Guaranteed Events at https://www.guaranteedevents.com/british-champs. For those not wishing to stay at Kents Hill there are hotels in Central Milton Keynes and scattered throughout the city.
